The 501st website is back!!! Thanks once again for visiting the OFFICIAL website of The 501st Elite Commandos. We are hard at work getting our new site refurbished and completed as soon as humanly possible. With the support of our loyal and irreplaceable members, sponsors, and clan allies, we will soon be running at full capacity. Please take this time to observe the layout and the other resources available for our home page. Should we decide to use this template, we can have up to 9 different web pages (per web host/for what we are paying). That is 1 more than our last site, which did not have all the extras some of you may have noticed. Some of the pages have not been updated yet. I am waiting to get a consensus from the rest of the clan, to see if this design is universal enough to suit all the different gaming divisions needs. |
Website working pages and functions
Log in boxes (at the top) - this log will be active once we have migrated our existing forum to the website directly. Once this process is completed, when you click the forum tab (on the above navigation bar) the lower half of the page will immediately bring up the forum, leaving our above banner in tact, and NOT diverting you from the site to phpBB forums. Again this is one of the last major projects we are working to resolve, and the new forum template is SWEET, so dont freak out, we will not be losing any posts or thread contents.
Home/Main page - partially complete - this page is pretty much everything you are looking at now. You can access any part of the website from here and have full functionality with exception to the poll box in the lower left hand corner... we may or may not keep this function (for maintenance purposes).
Forum page - partially complete - for now you can view many hyperlinks that take you to our forum which has been established for well over 2 years. You have to register ( we prefer your PS/PSN ID ) and the more accurate you update your profile - the easier it is for clan members to contact you.
Roster page - partially complete- this page shows a list of members that are active with all their contact info and bio. All of the highlighted material is interactive and functional.
Matches page - not updated - this page will host any future GBs from every game the 501st has scheduled - or the results of... GB activity has been slowed due to web development and the simultaneous release of many new PS3 games.
Downloads page - not updated - this page will have content and information you can download or the links to get the download. Download content will include anything games, videos, software programs, etc.
Media page - not updated - this page will house all 501st videos and video material we deem suitable and acceptable for the 501st website. We are working hard to install the right media player. Not an easy job... But we will have videos and video links posts within the next week.
Gallery - COMPLETED - Hurray - we finally have our gallery installed updated and packed with image content. Feel free to check it out. Because anyone can upload to our web server - you must complete a simple registration and log in. Look for the @ sign and a small drop down will appear to allow you to register. Immediately after a short username, password, and email registration. you will be allowed instant access to the 501st gallery and all of its content to include screenshots, images for making sigs, and other game/clan related material we have collected over the years. Very cool - CHECK IT OUT!!!
Sponsors page - not updated - we will probably update this page last.
Linkage page - not updated - This page will have image links to 501st approved allies as well as to other cool sites that are 501st clan forum/website related... Photobucket, YouTube, web hosting sites, etc. If you want your site link there - please contact a forum administrator for details on how to get that done.
